I'm a first-year Computer Science student at NUS who'd rather build the thing than read about it.

Somewhere between a 3am debugging session and a lecture on discrete maths, I found the part of computing I actually love: taking an idea that only exists in my head and forcing it to run on real hardware, for real people. Systems, interfaces, algorithms — whatever the problem needs.

Right now I'm deep in data structures, low-level C, and the kind of side projects that start as a joke at 1am and end up on GitHub by morning. I care about craft — code that's readable, products that feel considered, details nobody asked for.

THE STACK

01

Languages

Python, Java, C, JavaScript, SQL, and a healthy respect for pointers.

  • Python
  • Java
  • C
  • JavaScript
  • SQL
02

Web & Product

Front to back — interfaces that feel fast and APIs that don't fall over.

  • React
  • Node
  • HTML/CSS
  • REST
  • Figma
03

CS Fundamentals

Data structures, algorithms, OS concepts — the stuff that makes the rest work.

  • DSA
  • OOP
  • Systems
  • Discrete Math
04

Tooling

Git worth reading, Linux worth living in, and CI that catches me before users do.

  • Git
  • Linux
  • Docker
  • VS Code
05

Data & AI

Pandas, NumPy, and increasingly more time spent talking to language models.

  • NumPy
  • Pandas
  • LLM APIs
  • Prompting
06

Human Skills

Explaining hard things simply, shipping in teams, and writing docs people read.

  • Teamwork
  • Writing
  • Public speaking
03 / WORK

SELECTED
PROJECTS

Things I built because I wanted them to exist. Scroll sideways.

01

Orbital

Full-stack web app

A scheduling tool for student project teams that turns everyone's messy timetable into the one hour a week you're all actually free.

  • React
  • Node
  • PostgreSQL
02

Pathfinder

Algorithm visualiser

Watch A*, Dijkstra and BFS race each other across a maze you draw yourself. Built to make my own DSA revision less painful.

  • JavaScript
  • Canvas
  • Algorithms
03

Mess Hall

Data + scraping

Scrapes campus canteen menus, ranks them by what students actually rate, and tells you where to eat before the queue forms.

  • Python
  • BeautifulSoup
  • Pandas
04

Shellshock

Systems / C

A tiny UNIX shell written from scratch — piping, redirection, job control. Mostly an excuse to finally understand fork() and exec().

  • C
  • POSIX
  • Systems
04 / BEYOND THE SCREEN

OFF DUTY

  • A

    Public Speaking

Give me a mic and a deadline and I'll find something worth saying.

  • B

    Writing

Essays, build logs, and the occasional overlong explanation of a bug.

  • C

    Chess & Puzzles

Same dopamine as debugging, fewer stack traces.

  • D

    Hackathons

48 hours, too much caffeine, one demo that works on the third try.

  • E

    Exploring Singapore

Hawker centres ranked by a spreadsheet I refuse to show anyone.
